You can easily create a new custom workflow from scratch for any of your procedures, checklists, inspections, workflows, or any operational documents.
Select "Create Workflow" from the left navigation sidebar or click "New Workflow" from the Workflows page.
This will display the FAT FINGER Workflows library, from where you can choose to "Create new workflow" from scratch, or import any of the ready-to-use workflows from our library (that you can also customize).
Name Your Workflow & Select Your Elements
Digital Signatures, Multiple Choice drop-downs, yes/no, comments, barcodes, sections, trigger sections/logic, and more. Don't worry about making a mistake. You can always remove or reorganize elements at any time. You will see a preview of the app on the right side.
Element Expanded Options
Use the arrow to see what options are available for each of the elements that you have selected. For example, this is where you would populate all the different choices in a multiple choice drop-down element.
"Save" & "Publish"
Remember to save your workflow and keep into consideration that all new Workflows will, by default, be published into your "Default Team" as soon as you click any of the "Save" options. If your workflow is not 100% ready, but you still want to save it, make sure to first click the switch to un-published it. Once you are done customizing, you can simply flip the switch again to make it available for all teammates.
Adding Your Workflow To A Team
From the left navigation sidebar, select "Teams." You will have one default team, and you can create as many teams as you need. Teams help organize users' visibility toward specific workflows that they need. Also, it helps prevent users from becoming overwhelmed by seeing workflows and data that they don't need or shouldn't see.
For example, Safety workflows in the Safety team and Maintenance workflows in the Maintenance Team.
Users and workflows can be in multiple teams. This also helps companies that have different locations, divisions, etc.
Clicking "EDIT" on each team will allow you to add (or remove) users or (in this case) workflows.
Congratulations! Your new custom workflow is ready to be used on either the command center (browser) or the Mobile FAT FINGER app (iOS & Android)
Select "New" on the left navigation sidebar and start using your new workflow.
